Photography and Knits by Elise Sophie

norwegian flowers, books in a stack on the bedside table, cups of tea, films with lots of swearing, pincushions shaped as mushrooms, cats with big hearts, friends with many names and flavours, music with a lot of dimensions, knitting needles that mysteriously disappear, and yarn. lots of yarn.

Helen(e)

helen(e): the daughter of Zeus and Leda, born from an egg. In the Homeric poems she was the oustandingly beautiful wife of Menelaus, and her abduction by Paris (to whom she had been promised, as a bribe, by Aphrodite) led to the Trojan war.

of course, this is the very much more famous, Helene, who is known to be even more oustandingly beautiful, kind and also for oozing coolness.
