Flowers in February

i know it's march already, but this roll of film is from february, so these flowers were around edinburgh mid-february. it's so lovely when everything sort of wakes up again, don't you think?

soundtrack: Coldplay – Sparks because the first album is still my favourite.

this made me jump! cherries? now? how marvelous!

these were the earliest to show up, and they made me so happy i had to stop and smile and look and feel them to make sure they were real.



more of them, like a carpet under the trees, so lovely.

the gorse has also started to send out it's comforting coconut scent. if you look closely, you might be able to see a rainbow there, too.
