Photography and Knits by Elise Sophie

norwegian flowers, books in a stack on the bedside table, cups of tea, films with lots of swearing, pincushions shaped as mushrooms, cats with big hearts, friends with many names and flavours, music with a lot of dimensions, knitting needles that mysteriously disappear, and yarn. lots of yarn.

Happy 1st of December, everyone! Isn't it lovely? I'm off Uni for the next month, and it feels so nice to be done with everything academic for a while. So far I've knitted, knitted and knitted. I suppose having a long Christmas present list does that to you. Last night I made some Orange, Ginger and Grapefruit marmalade and some Aubergine chutney for Christmas as well. Had a little taste of the marmalade this morning and it is perfect for the season.

While my huge shawl is blocking, have a look at this cute little thing, unblocked:

It's called a 'heartwarmer', which sounds so nice. It only took an evening to knit, and is a perfect project to get rid of those one-skein-left-from-a-bigger-project that takes up space in the knitting basket. Pattern can be found here.
