norwegian flowers, books in a stack on the bedside table, cups of tea, films with lots of swearing, pincushions shaped as mushrooms, cats with big hearts, friends with many names and flavours, music with a lot of dimensions, knitting needles that mysteriously disappear, and yarn. lots of yarn.
This is a picture I took on my last walk (at least for now) on Blackford Hill, and it's of a hawthorn tree in bloom. One of my absolute favourite things to look at. I miss Edinburgh, I think. Especially when I see this photo.

it is on days like this - when you find shoes hanging from a blossoming tree - that you realize that you're living in the right place.

it is so odd to take a picture and then see it immediately. i have been in the film world for quite a long time, and i think i want to stay.
