Photography and Knits by Elise Sophie

norwegian flowers, books in a stack on the bedside table, cups of tea, films with lots of swearing, pincushions shaped as mushrooms, cats with big hearts, friends with many names and flavours, music with a lot of dimensions, knitting needles that mysteriously disappear, and yarn. lots of yarn.

The Uncommon Reader

I've just read a book that's called "The Uncommon Reader", written by Alan Bennett. The story is about Queen Elizabeth II. and her meeting with the wonderous world of books. All of her life she's looked at books as something that one shouldn't waste time on. But one day she discovers the book-bus that visits the castle every Wednesday, and decides to borrow a book, and she is immediately hooked! The story ends very un-cliché, and this book was a lovely little treat. Everyone who loves to read should definitely read this book!
I highly recommend it.
